find enough
A gentle tool for finding balance in the things you love to do.
"Head first, eyes closed, can't lose" — turns out, you can lose. A lot.
— Brian, who built this app
Why this exists
I have a tendency to go to extremes. Either I don't do something at all, or I dive in headfirst and lose all sense of balance. Piano for six hours straight. Reading until 2am. A video game weekend that somehow turns into a video game week.
The hard part isn't doing the things I love — it's knowing when I've done enough of them. That sweet spot between "I barely touched it today" and "I went way overboard" is surprisingly tricky to find.
So I built this. Not as a productivity tracker or a time police app — but as a gentle nudge to help me notice when I feel satisfied, and to spread that satisfaction across more of the things I care about.
How it works
Start a session
Tap any activity on the Today screen when you start doing it. A timer runs in the background — even if you close the app.
Find your enough
When you feel done — not burned out, not guilty, just genuinely satisfied — tap "That's enough for today." That's the moment this app is built around.
Check in with how you feel
Every time you end a session, you'll be asked how it felt: Flow, Good, Meh, or Guilt. Over time, those check-ins reveal patterns — like which activities tend to tip into "too much," and at what point.
Look at your insights
The Insights tab shows you how your time has been spread across activities — by week, by month, and over time. No judgment. Just data to help you notice what's working.
Make it yours
My activities won't be yours. Piano and knitting are mine — yours might be running, painting, cooking, or something else entirely. Head to the Manage tab to swap out any activity, add new ones, or reorder them however makes sense to you.
One thing I've already learned from using this: sometimes just a little time each day is genuinely enough. You don't have to go all-in every time. A short session that ends on a "Good" feeling beats a marathon that ends on "Guilt" every single time.
A note on the philosophy
This isn't about doing less of what you love. It's about doing more of it — sustainably. Balance isn't restriction. It's what lets you keep showing up for all the things that matter to you, day after day, without burning out or feeling guilty.
I hope this helps you do more of what you love, in a way that feels fulfilling and sustainable. That's all it's trying to do. 🌿

⏱ Session nudge
(optional)
While a session is running, you'll get a mood check-in after this long. A gentle prompt to notice how you're feeling — not a stop sign.
⬡ Weekly time limit
(optional)
A soft ceiling on how much time you spend on this activity each week. You'll see a gauge on the Today screen and during sessions as you approach it — going over is always allowed, just visible.
hmin
🗓Resets every Monday at midnight. Any time tracked Mon–Sun counts toward that week's limit.
🔔 Daily reminder
(optional)
Set a time of day. If you open the app after this time and haven't logged any time on this activity yet, a nudge card will appear on your Today screen.
📅 Weekly frequency goal
(optional)
How many days per week do you want to do this? If you're falling behind and won't make it in time, a nudge will appear on your Today screen.
🗓Also resets every Monday. Each day you log any time counts as one occurrence.
